Mohale Branch Manager - Grade D4 (Paterson Grading System)

Reporting lines

Position reports to Divisional Manager - Development and Operations

Job Purpose

To implement the Field Operations Branch strategy including management of operations and maintenance of LHWP civil and electromechanical assets such as dams, tunnels and weirs.

                                                                                               AND 

To provide administration support and implementation of processes, projects and programmes associated with compensation and resettlement issues, catchment and environmental as well as social investment issues and their evaluation.

Required qualifications and experience 

A recognised Bachelor of Science/Engineering Degree in Electromechanical, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil, with ten (10) years’ post-qualification experience, five (5) of which should be in a Managerial role or Senior Professional with at least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.

Preferred requirements

Proven ability to manage senior professional staff in a utilities-service provision organization and/or in the implementation of multi-disciplinary development projects.
